Digital twin· LOD 200 / LOD 300

Digital twin of an existing building or industrial site

A survey-accurate model that keeps earning its keep after handover.

We build digital twins of buildings and industrial facilities from laser survey data: geometry, structure, overhead services and equipment positions, captured as they actually are. The model becomes a reference for operations, maintenance planning and future works instead of a one-off deliverable.

Why GUYENNE ÉTUDES for digital twin

  • Scoped to what you will actually use, not modelled for its own sake

  • Registered point cloud of the whole site
  • Equipment and services positions
  • IFC export for asset management systems

Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between a digital twin and a BIM model?
A BIM model usually serves a project and stops at handover. A digital twin is meant to stay useful during operation, so it is scoped around what the facility team needs to consult and update, not around what the design team needed to build.
Can you scan a plant that stays in production?
Yes. Scanning is passive and needs no shutdown. We plan around access constraints and safety inductions, and can work in phases if only parts of the site are accessible at a time.
