3D scanning for interior designers — fitted joinery, mouldings, virtual tours
Fitted joinery is where an approximate survey costs real money. A wall that is forty millimetres out of parallel over four metres turns a made-to-measure unit into a site alteration, and the cost lands on you. Scanning gives you the room as it is — out of square, out of level, mouldings and all — so the workshop cuts once.
What actually slows you down
Your constraints are specific. Our deliverables and turnaround are built around them, not the other way round.
Ordering made-to-measure joinery against dimensions taken by hand, in a room that is not square
Recording mouldings, cornices and skirting profiles that a refurbishment has to match
Presenting a scheme to a client who cannot picture the space from a drawing
Working from a photograph when the supplier needs a dimension
Returning to site again and again for a measurement that should have been taken once
How we answer, point by point
Dimensions accurate to a few millimetres, in a room measured as it actually is — not as it was drawn
Mouldings, cornices, reveals and skirting profiles recorded when the scheme has to match them
A virtual tour your client can walk through, which sells a scheme better than any render
Every dimension available afterwards from the point cloud, without another site visit
Fast enough to sit inside a design programme rather than hold it up
How the job runs
Four stages, from brief to delivery. Every output is shaped by howinterior designers actually work.
Brief
The rooms, the floor area, and what the scheme needs — joinery dimensions, mouldings, a tour, or all three. Priced the same day.
On site
Half a day for a flat, with the occupants in place. Nothing is drilled or dismantled. The virtual tour is captured in the same visit where it is wanted.
Production
Registration, then dimensioned plans and elevations. Mouldings and profiles are modelled where the brief calls for them.
Handover
Drawings, point cloud and tour. Any dimension you need later comes out of the cloud rather than out of another site visit.
What you receive
Files that drop straight into your workflow. No improvised conversion, no proprietary format forced on you.
